Hello! I'm Kamelia, a graduate student bridging statistics, finance, and data science — currently pursuing a Master's in Financial Instruments Management (GIF) at CY Cergy Paris Université, after a Master's in Statistics and Economic Forecasting.
My path has been deliberately hybrid: actuarial modeling, credit risk analysis, quant modeling with Python and deep learning, and data analytics in the field. Each experience sharpened the same instinct — find the pattern hiding in the noise, then explain it clearly enough that someone can act on it.
I work across Python, SQL, Power BI, SAS, and machine learning frameworks like Scikit-learn and TensorFlow, with a growing focus on quantitative finance — pricing, risk, portfolio analytics. Outside of spreadsheets and models, I write, I follow long-running anime, and I'm drawn to games and films that reward paying close attention.
Currently looking for an alternance starting September 2026, where data meets finance.
